Web Design
I built this website from scratch as an example of my flexible talents. This helped me learn to create a reactive website using css and javascript. The biggest difficulty was making the website's design dynamic across multiple screens and devices.
I also have experience with C#'s .NET framework, creating an internal web application at my past work. Web design is just an extension of my overall professional interests, which include a breadth of media creation.

Star Wars Booth

"Booth"
Booth is an iconic Carnegie Mellon University experience, central to the campus and community-wide annual Spring Carnival. Each year several collegiate organizations create interactive buildings to engage and entertain the student body, faculty and their families, as well as members of the local Pittsburgh neighborhoods. The entries are built around a common theme and are judged on their outward structural appearance, their interior designs, the game that is implemented with the booth, and the overall adherence to the theme and story.
Each booth is reminiscent of the waiting area for an attraction or ride at an immersive theme park. The Carnival theme is decided upon in the Fall and interpreted uniquely by each entrant. The booths also include an interactive game to entertain the guests as they proceed through the line.
I was the co-chairman of Sigma Phi Epsilon's booth in 2017, which won the highest award for overall design, execution, and environmental sensitivity. The booth's theme was Star Wars and was a two-story structure designed to resemble a fallen AT-AT. My co-chair and I designed the experience from the perspective of Finn - the disgraced former stormtrooper from "The Force Awakens". VR Development
Spring Cleaning is a brief VR game that I made with Unity in a team of 6. We were given 6 weeks to create a game that added a twist to recreational lawn games. Our team chose to modify croquet. The game demos the different type of puzzles you can create when you push croquet to 3 Dimensions instead of one plane.

In Spring Cleaning, the player assumes the role of a newly hired sanitation employee on a space ship. The player must hit balls of trash through their respective receptacles to clean the ship. The game demos gravity puzzles, vacuum puzzles, and includes haptic feedback for the player with intuitive hitting mechanics. Our team was lauded for having a very immersive environment and intuitive controls.
I created many of the 3D models that can be seen in the game. I programmed the majority of the user interaction, and also animated the helper bot that we included to give the user a sense of scale. If you would like to read more about the project (and what I did), you can visit its GitHub page.

A reimagining of Sudoku
A similar prompt to Spring Cleaning, the idea of Noah's Tower was to reimagine Sudoku. Since the lead programmer and I wanted to take on the challenge of programming for a 3D environment, our team chose to reimagine sudoku onto 4 sides of a cube.

In a team of 5, we created this in 3 weeks. We had feedback each week and were able to improve on our design. We learned a lot about feedback and how to improve the user interface. As well as playing the role of producer and presenter for the team, I also modeled the raft, simulated cloth physics on the raft's transom, as well as the rising wave mechanic that leads to the loss-state of the game.
